Philippians 4:13
Philippians 4:13 comes from a letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Philippi while he was in prison (Phil 1:12-14). Despite his difficult situation, Paul was full of joy and encouragement. In the verses leading up to Philippians 4:13, Paul talks about learning to be content in all circumstances, whether in need or in plenty (Phil 4:11-12). He explains that this contentment comes from the strength Christ gives him. So, this verse is Paul’s powerful testimony that no matter what life throws at us, Christ’s strength enables us to endure and thrive. It’s a message of hope rooted in trusting Jesus through every situation.

My Story
My past has been filled with experiences, some good, and some that no one should really have to go through. The details are not really that important, and I can assure you that the majority of people who will ever read this will have had some bad, even traumatic experiences in their life, be it in their past, their present or their future. What we can never truly know is how another person’s experiences have affected them, just as we can never really know what their experience was like. We all have our own story.
